It is about bringing together art and viticulture like it has been done since its very origins issuing the challenge to contemporary artists to reinterpret the famous Rembrandt box that has been dressing our bottles for more than 60 years. In this first edition, Willy Ramos, a Colombian artist living in Spain, who masters oils, watercolurs and charcoal and seeks to evoke beauty through paintings that are light-hearted, exuberant, absorbent and compelling, was the artist chosen to design this first edition of Faustino Art Collection. Colombian-born Willy Ramos migrated to Valencia when he was 14 years old, where he graduated and later obtained a Cum Laude Doctorate from the Polytechnic University of Valencia where he is currently a tenured professor. He has forged a major career on the international scene and has exhibited at such fairs the likes of ARCO, ARTBO, Art Toronto, Pinta London, Art Miami and Art Madrid. 

Faustino Art Collection is made with 100% Tempranillo grapes. It is a fresh wine with good acidity and notes of vanilla targeting the on-trade channel.

Faustino Art Collection was presented during an event in Madrid in which Grupo Faustino also revealed other new creations for the fall term. Among them is the new vintage of Faustino Icon Edition, which targets both domestic and export markets. The new wine is aligned with the company’s communication strategy, based on an iconic portrait, present on every label, which has contributed to Faustino’s current position as one of the 25 most-recognised wine brands worldwide. A true timeless icon that has succeeded in passing from one generation to the next.
